Technical name:- Myclobutanil 10% WP

The index is the most powerful and effective azole-based fungicide of the triazole group. It is a broad-spectrum and highly systemic fungicide. Its most economical, safe, and effective fungicide, provides a long duration of control on Powdery Mildew, Anthracnose, and Scab.

Target Diseases:- Scab, Powdery Mildew, and other diseases

Dosage:- 150 Gm/acre

Major Crops:- Apple, Grapes, Chillis

Mode of action:-

It kills fungal cells through inhibition of cell membrane biosynthesis and cellular respiration.

  • Index inhibits the ergosterol biosynthesis (steroid demethylation inhibitor)

  • It controls the target fungi by inhibiting the synthesis of sterols in fungus thus affecting their normal growth.

  • The index is rapidly absorbed by the plant and by its systemic action translocates in the whole plant

  • Index dual-action can be used to prevent & control Powdery mildew.

  • Index even if applied up to 96 hours, after the infection process has started, kills the infections or germinating spores before the infection becomes established

  • The index has having lowest waiting period among other powdery mildewcide

  • Index has one hour of rain fastness which means it’s resistant to wash off. Its vapor phase activity also contributes to the effectiveness
