  • Sellrod Chlorpyrifos 50% EC has been used for the last several decades but no resistance is reported and has good compatibility with most commonly used pesticides. It can be used with other modes of action pesticides under the IPM strategy. It is also used for the management of soil insects because of longer residual action.
  • Sellrod Chlorpyrifos 50% EC has been seen as effective on Sucking, Chewing, Biting, and Boring pests like Boll worms, Stem borers, Leaf roller, Termites, etc on crops like Cotton, Rice, etc.

Chlorpyriphos 50% EC Insecticides are biochemical pesticides that are naturally occurring substances that control pests by nontoxic mechanisms. Conventional pesticides, by contrast, are generally synthetic materials that directly kill or inactivate the pests. For example, a plant in the presence of chitosan will naturally induce systemic resistance (ISR) to allow the plant to defend itself against disease, pathogens, and pests.

 Mode of Action: Contact and stomach action

  • Sellrod Chlorpyrifos 50% EC belongs to the organophosphorus chemical group.
  • It is recommended on a wide range of crops for control of various pests.
  • Sellrod Chlorpyrifos 50% EC has quick knockdown action has longer persistence on leaves and is specifically effective on most of the larvae and Termites.
